TechAmerica takes former lobbyists to court on hirings

The D.C.-based technology association alleges former staffers improperly used confidential information about members TechAmerica is suing three former lobbyists and the rival association that hired them, claiming the lobbyists used their positions to steal the group's trade secrets and members. In a lawsuit filed with D.C. Superior Court Nov. 8, TechAmerica is seeking $5 million in damages from the lobbyists and the Information Technology Industry Council.
